This Privacy Policy explains how FieldCheck: Metafields collects, uses, stores, and deletes data when merchants install and use the app.

FieldCheck: Metafields is operated by DITS.agency.

What the app uses data for

authenticate stores securely through Shopify
run metafield audits and show saved result snapshots
export audit reports and deep-link merchants back to Shopify admin
debug billing, webhook, auth, and bulk-operation issues when support is needed

What data is collected

store domain and Shopify installation context required to authenticate the merchant
session and operator identity fields returned by Shopify for embedded app access
audit profiles, audit runs, and item-level audit results created inside the app
billing entitlement cache used to enforce plan access and retention windows
technical logs needed to troubleshoot auth, webhook, bulk-operation, export, and billing issues

What the app does not store

customer records
order records
payment card or payout data
The app may store audit snapshots and report data so merchants can review results, compare runs, and export reports according to their active plan.

Retention and deletion

sessions, profiles, and entitlements are kept only while the app remains installed
audit snapshots are retained according to the merchant plan: Free 7 days, Pro 30 days, Ultra 365 days
if plan entitlement has not synced yet, the app falls back to the default retention setting configured for the service
shop-scoped data is deleted on uninstall and on valid Shopify `shop/redact` compliance requests

Compliance requests and contact

Shopify compliance webhooks are implemented for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction. DITS.agency operates the app and publishes company details at DITS.agency.
